eeeeeeeEEEEEWWWWWW alert!

As the kids and I were heading out to dinner tonight..
because Bob went out on his motorcycle...
And I do not like to cook...
and it was raining....
and all the leftovers had been eaten...
and I had spent all day on the computer...
and I don't like to cook. Or I should say I don't like to figure out WHAT to cook....
and the dishwasher was full because the kids had not emptied it.
Anyway...going down the driveway we saw a black snake. They say black snakes are
good to have, they keep away mice and all but oh, my goodness....YUCK!

Sam came to the rescue and brought it across the street, far away into the woods...I do not want it to have babies in my garage!

  2. Yuck! Even having had 2 pet snakes in our house, I still do not like seeing them in the wild, even in pictures. Great pics though!! Lisa Whitten

  3. Sam keeps asking for a pet snake mmmm...NO!
I used the "big" lense so that I did not get too close. I don't mind snakes, I just don't like them. period.

  4. Wonderful photos Krista! I know you didn't get THAT close however! Snakes don't bother me. I once picked up a garden snake and chased my DIL'S father with it. It was hysterical as he is so afraid of snakes and is always pulling jokes on others. He got payed back that day LOL!

  5. Diana that is a visual! Snakes are one of those things that if I think about it too much they give me the hegebeegees. I've held them, still just don't like em!

  6. those pictures are amazing! WOW beautiful but I don't think I could have even approached the snake to take those pictures! They are simply beautiful! And your son picking it up to take it to the woods....ah thank goodness for having boys! I am like you...I hate to think of what to cook for dinner...I have always hated the idea of what does everyone want to eat and of course whatever I decided SOMEONE would hate what I cooked LOL. Thus....dining out was always a treasure to me! Even know...I hate it when hubby says "oh whatever you want to make is ok" or, if I ask, what do you want to drink with dinner, milk, water, punch...and he says "whatever you want" ARGH....LOL such is the joy of life...hugs and smiles...

  7. Linda....the next time he says "whatever you want" don't give him anything and say oh,that is easy 'cause I don't want anything. Wouldn't that be funny? heheheh.

  8. I have only had two experiences with snakes. When I was living in Zimbabwe a friend sat down on a toilet seat in an outside toilet and sat on a snake coiled round on the seat! (But this wasn't really MY experience.) The other was that I went to a Reptile Park near here and sat with a harmless snake coiled round my neck. It was absolutely dry (I expected slimy)and its skin felt lovely. So there you are!
