Gentleman's Dresser Painted in Annie Sloan's Emperor's Silk

This guy hung out in my garage this summer, I walked by him numerous time a day looking at him trying to decide what look he was going to get.
I thought about Florence, by Annie Sloan but that seemed to frilly.
Antoinette was too girly girl and since he had become Henry in my mind he needed something masculine.
I decided on the Emperor's Silk with the dark wax, it seemed very fitting for Henry.
I love how the drawers have this pretty curve.
And the little cuff link holders.
I don't know how old Henry is, maybe born in the 1940's. If you are familiar with him I would love to know what your thought is on his age.
Henry's detailing is not perfect but I like to think it gives him character.

He is a handsome fella, very solid and reliable.
Tons of character and style.
Henry received new drawer pulls, the originals were long gone.
Henry needs a new home, wouldn't you love to give him the forever home he deserves?

  1. Oh, I love it!!! I need something a little longer with a bunch of doors and maybe 2-3 drawers (for my kitchen) to store all dishes I have collected over the past 3 years cooking for my police officers. It's like 20 of everything and no where to put it -- 20 plates, 20 tea glasses, etc. You are so talented!
