When I first started working on Gabe's photos it really intimidated and did not want to start. It was very sobering. But that has changed.
I decided to do most of the photos as black and white, varying the tones of the black. I wanted to them to be timeless but I also wanted to focus on the emotions and not be distracted by color.
Connie shows such peace with Gabe. I know that there is a lot of turmoil and unknown when it comes to Gabe's health and she worries endless about him. But she looks so comfortable and at ease.
Oh, poor sweet little thing. My heart breaks for your friend, but in her, from just this glimpse, I sense her strength.

Oh I agree with the black and white Krista. The emotions are seen so much better. I can see a loving and caring mother. You did good.
